Grow My Way is based on the idea that every child with special needs, specifically children with Autism can learn and thrive.
Our mission is a personal one. By the age of two our son spoke three languages, knew his colors, shapes, numbers and lots and lots of words. By age three all that was lost.
When he was diagnosed with autism, our lives changed. Along with the diagnosis came a binder of what may help, so we tried it all.
Our journey has encompassed Applied Behavioral Analyses, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Pivotal Role Therapy, Floor time, Relationship Developmental Intervention and biomedical.
We have learned that nature is the best teacher! Research shows that children who play outdoors are healthier, smarter and happier. It can also incorporate language expansion opportunities, fine motor and gross motor development techniques, math, science, art, reading, social play, and so much more.
Our goal is simple - we help discover a pathway that will allow every child with autism to GROW focusing on their strengths, and paving a way to help him/her to be a successful learner.
